Job description

  • Take responsibility for internal financial scope and for external financial service to clients.
  • Ensuring the company's financial health by overseeing all financial planning and analysis activities
  • Collaborating with managers to develop budgets for the business, usually on a monthly or quarterly basis
  • Working closely with managers across all departments of the organization, as well as external parties such as customers and vendors
  • Developing financial models and cash flow projections
  • Monitoring actual performance versus budget and providing accurate financial reports to management which give the required guidance in times of need
  • Tracking, reporting, and analyzing budget variances for the group company and for clients
  • Leading and monitoring the accountants team to work in the right process and accuracy input data of financial workflow within deadline
  • Managing financial affairs with the utmost expertise and provide the most suitable expert advice for future financial decisions.
  • Reviewing the company's financial statements and ensuring accuracy of financial statements
  • Preparing month-end reports for management, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
  • Forecasting future performance and recommending changes in policies or procedures that will improve financial performance.
  • Preparing and analyzing budgets and forecasting future financial performance
  • Ensuring compliance with government regulations

Qualifications:

  • Proven working experience as a Financial Controller
  • 5+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience
  • Bachelors degree in accounting with CPA or CA is an advantage.
  • Excellent Communication in English
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
  • Experience with creating financial statements and general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process
  • Proficient in MS excel and other financial software
  • Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail
  • Good leadership and communication capabilities
  • Strong organization skills, Problem-solving skills and Time management
