About the job Marketing & Communication Manager

  • Own the BU Shrimp marketing plan, review from time to time to make sure it is current and fit for purpose.
  • Implement the marketing plan for the shrimp business, ensuring consistency with company objectives.
  • Manage day-to-day marketing activities, including digital marketing, advertising campaigns, and promotions.
  • Coordinate with sales and product teams to develop targeted campaigns aimed at increasing product visibility.
  • Develop and maintain compelling product messaging and promotional materials.
  • Create content for brochures, newsletters, social media, website, and press releases to communicate key messages to target audiences.
  • Manage social media platforms to promote shrimp products and engage with the target audience.
  • Monitor digital marketing performance through analytics and KPIs, optimizing campaigns for better reach and engagement.
  • Update and manage the shrimp units website content to reflect new products, partnerships, and industry news.
  • Plan and coordinate trade shows, exhibitions, and other events to showcase shrimp products.
  • Liaise with external partners, suppliers, and stakeholders for successful event execution.
  • Manage crisis communication efforts and respond to media inquiries as necessary.
  • Work closely with the sales and product development teams to support new product launches.
  • Provide regular reports on marketing activities, performance metrics, and recommendations for improvements.
  • Align with Corporate teams to ensure branding is maintained.

Qualifications: 

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
  • 5 years of experience in marketing, preferably within the seafood, food, or agriculture industry.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies, social media, and content creation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Traveling once every quarter (if needed)
