RESPONSIBILITIES.

Teaching & Learning Leadership

  • Design and facilitate high-quality, play-based, inquiry-driven, and project-led learning experiences.
  • Create engaging environments that spark curiosity and exploration.
  • Integrate global best practices within TCG's Reggio-inspired approach.
  • Model exemplary early years pedagogy for educators.
  • Observe, document, and assess children's learning through portfolios and narrative documentation.


Teacher Mentoring & Capacity Building.

  • Mentor and coach early years teachers and assistants.
  • Lead demonstration lessons and professional workshops.
  • Support curriculum planning and reflective teaching practices.
  • Contribute to the school's professional development programme.

Curriculum & Programmed Development.

  • Collaborate with leadership to strengthen early years curriculum frameworks.
  • Design thematic units and long-term learning plans.
  • Ensure alignment with NEP 2020 and international early childhood standards.
  • Support smooth transitions from kindergarten to primary years.

Family & Community Engagement.

  • Engage parents through workshops, conferences, and classroom interactions.
  • Communicate children's development clearly and professionally.
  • Foster strong home–school partnerships.
  • Support admissions events and school showcases.


School Development & Culture

  • Contribute to strategic planning for early years expansion.
  • Support accreditation and quality assurance initiatives.
  • Participate in school events and celebrations.
  • Represent The Children's Garden as a world-class institution.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

  • Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education or a related field.
  • Formal Early Childhood teaching certification or training in Montessori, Reggio Emilia, IB PYP Early Years, or EYFS preferred.
  • 5–10 years of professional experience in early childhood education, ideally within international or progressive school settings.
  • Demonstrated experience working in culturally diverse classroom environments.
  • Strong understanding of play-based, inquiry-driven, and project-based learning approaches.
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English.
  • Proven ability to mentor, guide, and support early years educators.
  • Strong classroom leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience in curriculum design, pedagogical documentation, and portfolio-based assessment.
  • Familiarity with child safeguarding standards, wellbeing frameworks, and inclusive education practices.
  • Openness to working in a new cultural context and contributing meaningfully to a growing school community.
  • Willingness to relocate to Nagpur, India and actively engage with the school's vision and ethos.
