About the Role

The Senior Vice President IT will be a strategic leader and a key member of the executive team, responsible for defining and delivering an enterprise-wide digital and IT strategy. The role demands a visionary with deep expertise in IT transformation within FMCG distribution and 3PL, particularly around SAP S/4HANA implementation and cloud technologies. The incumbent will lead digital innovation, modernize IT infrastructure, drive operational excellence, and serve as a strategic advisor to the business, ensuring technology enables sustainable growth and agility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership & Governance
    • Develop and execute a digital and IT roadmap aligned with business objectives.
    • Partner with C-level executives to ensure IT strategy supports commercial and operational goals.
    • Drive enterprise-wide innovation and digital transformation across sales, distribution, and supply chain.
    • Enforce IT governance, cybersecurity, and compliance protocols.
  • SAP Leadership & Transformation
    • Lead SAP S/4HANA migration and manage the full SAP ecosystem including RPA, SAC, and BTP.
    • Transition infrastructure from on-premises to cloud-based platforms.
    • Ensure systems support FMCG operations including order-to-cash, inventory, trade promotions, and 3PL.
    • Engage with vendors to negotiate IT infrastructure and support contracts.
  • Technology & Infrastructure Management
    • Oversee IT infrastructure, cloud environments, data security, and enterprise architecture.
    • Implement robust business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
    • Modernize legacy systems with minimal disruption to operations.
  • People & Change Leadership
    • Build and lead a high-performing IT team.
    • Foster a culture of innovation, agility, and continuous improvement.
    • Drive change management and digital adoption across the organization.
  • Stakeholder Management & Communication
    • Serve as a key bridge between IT and business units.
    • Provide regular updates to executive leadership on IT performance and digital ROI.
    • Represent the organization in external tech partnerships and industry engagements

Qualifications & Experience

  • Strong background in FMCG/CPG sales and distribution; 3PL experience is a plus.
  • Proven success in migrating enterprise workloads to the cloud.
  • In-depth understanding of end-to-end commercial and supply chain business processes.
  • Track record of managing large-scale IT budgets and multi-site operations.

Technical Competencies

  • Expertise in SAP S/4HANA, BTP, SAC, CPI.
  • Experience in cloud technologies and infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of RPA, data analytics, AI/ML, and cybersecurity frameworks.
  • Deep understanding of FMCG and 3PL operational systems.
