About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Manager to join a leading logistics and supply chain company in Saudi Arabia. Based in Jeddah, Dammam, or Riyadh, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth through strategic sales initiatives, client acquisition, and portfolio expansion across freight forwarding, warehousing, and transportation services.
You will play a key role in identifying opportunities, closing deals, and building long-term client relationships while collaborating closely with internal teams to deliver tailored logistics solutions. Role and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet revenue targets
- Cross-sell and upsell a full portfolio of logistics services by identifying synergies and tailoring solutions
- Generate new leads and clients through various outreach channels, including field visits and social media
- Create compelling business proposals and deliver persuasive client presentations
- Conduct market research to stay updated on trends, competitors, and opportunities
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and loyalty
- Collaborate with operations teams for seamless service execution
- Monitor and support client payment adherence and maintain credit control
- Provide timely and accurate daily sales reports and insights.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong understanding of international freight forwarding, warehousing, and transportation
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); strong numerical skills
- Demonstrated ability to influence, negotiate, and close deals
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and results-driven
- Valid driving license required
- Professional, responsible, and service-oriented approach
