Technical Project Manager
About the job Technical Project Manager
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Own the full delivery lifecycle of technical projects, including scope definition, planning,
timelines, risks, dependencies, and milestones - Lead project ceremonies such as kick-offs, stand-ups, sprint planning sessions, and
retrospectives - Maintain strong project tracking and reporting in Jira, including epics, stories, estimates,
dependencies, and delivery progress - Work closely with Engineering and Product teams to align delivery plans with technical
constraints, capacity, and product roadmaps - Drive alignment across cross-functional stakeholders, including senior leadership, ensuring clear communication and timely decision-making
- Proactively identify delivery risks, technical blockers, and resource challenges, ensuring timely resolution
- Ensure project delivery remains aligned with service packs, contractual scope, and customer
expectations - Support continuous improvement of delivery processes, tools, and ways of working
SKILLSET REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of experience in Technical Project Management, Delivery Management, or similar roles within software or technology environments
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and Agile delivery frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid)
- Hands-on experience with Jira, including managing epics, stories, dependencies, and delivery tracking
- Proven experience delivering technology transformation projects, such as migrating legacy platforms to modern cloud-based or web applications
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Highly organized, proactive, and capable of driving follow-ups, decisions, and accountability
- Project management or Agile certifications such as Scrum Master, PRINCE2, PMP, or SAFe, will be an added advantage
- Experience working in SaaS, enterprise software, or consulting environments advantage
EDUCATION QUALIFICAITONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline
