About the job Executive Chef | Luxury Resort Hotel
We are recruiting an Executive Chef for a luxury resort property under Songtsam, a renowned high-end cultural hospitality group in China.
This role will be based in Lhasa, Tibet, leading the culinary team of a luxury destination hotel focused on premium Tibetan cultural experiences and international-standard resort dining.

Key Responsibilities:
* Fully oversee kitchen operations, culinary production, staffing, and workflow management
* Lead menu development for international fusion cuisine, fine dining experiences, VIP events, and seasonal offerings
* Integrate local Tibetan ingredients and regional culinary culture into elevated dining concepts
* Ensure consistency in food quality, presentation, hygiene, and operational standards
* Manage food cost control, inventory, supplier coordination, and kitchen profitability
* Establish SOPs, food safety systems, and kitchen operational standards
* Recruit, mentor, and develop culinary teams
* Collaborate with front office and sales teams for high-end guest experiences and events
Requirements:
* Minimum 8 years of experience as Executive Chef or Head Chef in:
* International luxury hotels
* Boutique resorts
* Michelin-starred or Black Pearl-level restaurants
* Strong expertise in Western cuisine and international fusion dining
* Experience developing localized or culturally inspired menus
* Strong leadership, kitchen management, and cost-control capabilities
* High standards in food safety, operational discipline, and culinary consistency
* Candidates with experience in high-altitude destinations, luxury resorts, or ethnic/regional cuisine environments are highly preferred
* Must be physically able to adapt to high-altitude conditions in Lhasa
