Job Brief

The VP Treasury Dealer will manage day-to-day FX and derivatives trading activities, ensuring efficient pricing, execution, and risk management within defined limits. The role involves collaborating closely with Relationship Managers and clients to deliver timely market solutions, preparing treasury reports, and supporting broader treasury operations. The successful candidate will also contribute to optimizing the bank's balance sheet and liquidity position through active market engagement and disciplined ALM practices.

Responsibilities

• Execute and manage FX and derivatives trading in compliance with internal risk policies, market regulations, and trading limits.
• Support Relationship Managers and Customer Dealers in providing market insights, product pricing, and trade execution to meet client needs.
• Monitor liquidity and funding positions, contributing to asset-liability management strategies and short-term cash flow optimization.
• Prepare and analyze treasury reports, covering positions, exposures, and market updates for management and compliance use.
• Collaborate with Treasury Operations to ensure smooth settlement, reconciliation, and documentation of trades.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market developments, risk management practices, and emerging treasury products.

Requirements

• Proven experience in FX trading, derivatives, and liquidity management within a banking or financial institution.
• Strong understanding of market products, risk management, and ALM principles.
• Must be a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) or hold equivalent treasury qualification.
• Excellent analytical, decision-making, and communication skills.
• High attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced trading environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively across front, middle, and back-office teams.
