Job Brief

Our client, a leading IT Services & Consulting company, is seeking an experienced Head of Enterprise Applications (Software) to lead teams in the development, implementation, and continuous enhancement of business applications and IT services. This role requires expertise in project planning, resource management, and execution aligned with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) standards.

Responsibilities

Stakeholder & Team Management

• Internal Collaborators: Business leaders, managers, executives, and IT teams.
• External Engagements: Solution providers, industry partners, vendors, and client interactions.
• Direct Reports: IT Project Managers, Software Development Managers, and Architects.

IT Project Management & Implementation

• Collaborate with leadership, development teams, internal stakeholders, and vendors to define project scope and deliver high-quality application systems and IT services.
• Oversee project execution, managing resources, timelines, budgets, and deliverables.

Application Development & Maintenance

• Lead software development teams in designing, maintaining, and supporting in-house applications and IT project implementations.
• Provide 3rd-level production support and escalate critical issues to management.

Leadership

• Drive solution proposals and spearhead key initiatives aligned with business objectives.
• Lead teams to meet and exceed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Establish and support career development plans for team members.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in software development, business analysis, project management, process improvement, and system validation.
• Strong expertise in change management, training, and mentorship.
• In-depth knowledge of IT solutions, application lifecycle management, and risk identification.
• Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written).
• Extensive experience in vendor and partner management.
• Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (required).
• Masters degree in Business Administration or Information & Communications Technology (a plus).
