Job Brief

Our client, a leading FinTech and IT Services & Consulting company, is seeking a results-driven Strategic Partnerships Manager to lead government engagement and high-level enterprise collaboration efforts. This role focuses on building strong partnerships with government agencies and key industry stakeholders to enable data integration, drive co-sell opportunities, and unlock nationwide digital transformation initiatives.

With a strong background in FinTech, enterprise tech, or government technology solutions, you will be at the forefront of shaping the countrys digital financial ecosystem.


Responsibilities

Government & Industry Partnerships

  • Build and manage long-term relationships with Philippine government agencies, regulatory bodies, and policy makers.
  • Act as a key representative in government roundtables, industry conferences, and public sector engagements.
  • Identify and secure opportunities to embed company solutions into national digital infrastructure initiatives (eKYC, identity, payments, fraud prevention, etc.).

Strategic Business Development

  • Lead the full lifecycle of partnership development: from prospecting, negotiation, onboarding, to long-term engagement.
  • Co-create go-to-market strategies with government and industry partners to deliver joint solutions.
  • Represent the company in strategic consortia, data exchange programs, and innovation alliances.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Product, Compliance, Solutions, Legal, and Data teams to support the technical and regulatory alignment of all partnership activities.
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of partnerships through well-defined KPIs and OKRs.

Market & Ecosystem Insights

  • Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify new partnership opportunities and ecosystem gaps.
  • Recommend strategic initiatives based on emerging government technology trends and regulatory priorities.


Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, or enterprise/government sales within the FinTech, banking, IT services, credit bureau, or risk management space.
  • Proven success in securing and managing partnerships with government agencies in the Philippines.
  • Familiarity with eKYC, AML, fraud prevention, digital identity, and regulatory technology (RegTech) solutions.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and ability to manage complex stakeholder landscapes.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills; comfortable engaging at executive and policymaker levels.
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related field (MBA a plus).
  • Strategic, collaborative, and highly organized with the ability to operate in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
  • Willingness to travel for stakeholder engagements, government meetings, and conferences.
