Our client, a leading financial institution, is seeking an experienced professional to lead and enhance Bancassurance strategies, drive key partnerships, and optimize sales execution. As the Head of Insurance Distribution Strategy (Bancassurance), you will be responsible for overseeing and driving Bancassurance initiatives across multiple channels. You will act as the strategic bridge between the bank, its distribution partners, and key internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of sales, referral programs, and customer engagement strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute Bancassurance strategies to drive sales and increase market penetration across diverse customer segments.
  • Develop and optimize alternative distribution channels, including corporate partnerships, digital platforms, and affinity sales networks.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the bank, insurance providers, and distribution teams to align objectives and ensure seamless execution.
  • Oversee lead generation, sales execution, and product development for both Life and Non-Life insurance products.
  • Ensure compliance and operational excellence, working closely with internal teams in Operations, Finance, and Compliance to streamline processes.
  • Monitor performance metrics, provide insights, and drive continuous improvements in sales and customer engagement strategies.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in Insurance specifically Bancassurance, with expertise in both Life and Non-Life insurance sales and alternative distribution.
  • 10+ years of sales leadership experience, with a track record of coaching teams and consistently exceeding revenue targets.
  • Proven success in developing and managing alternative Bancassurance channels, including corporate, digital, and affinity sales models.
  • Strong relationship management skills, with experience in collaborating with multiple stakeholders across banking and insurance sectors.
  • Highly adaptable, results-oriented, and strategic thinker who can navigate complex business structures and drive impactful initiatives.
