Job Brief

We are seeking a Performance and Automation Testing Engineer to ensure the quality, stability, and scalability of critical banking systems through effective performance and automation testing practices.

This role plays a key part in validating system enhancements and implementations, identifying performance bottlenecks, and ensuring seamless user experiences across business-critical applications. The ideal candidate has solid experience in test design, scripting, execution, and performance analysis, with the ability to work closely with development and business teams to ensure robust and reliable systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute comprehensive test strategies, including performance and automation test plans, to support system enhancements and new implementations.

• Develop and maintain test scripts, test data, and test procedures to ensure accurate and repeatable testing cycles.

• Conduct performance testing to evaluate system responsiveness, stability, and scalability under varying load conditions.

• Leverage automation tools (e.g., Selenium) to streamline regression testing and improve testing efficiency.

• Prepare and maintain Requirements Traceability Matrices to ensure coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.

• Identify, analyze, and document defects or performance issues and work with development teams for resolution.

• Collaborate with project teams to ensure the successful and timely release of high-quality applications.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing methodologies, frameworks, and best practices.

• Participate in project meetings and provide input on quality risks, timelines, and dependencies.

• Prepare test reports and metrics to support go-live and post-implementation validation.

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in performance testing and/or automation testing.

• Proficiency in Selenium or similar automation testing tools.

• Strong understanding of test design techniques, scripting, and data-driven testing.

• Experience in performance test planning, execution, and reporting.

• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Strong technical documentation and reporting skills.
