Job Brief:
Our client, a Singapore-based events and marketing firm supporting global tech, enterprise and start-up companies, is expanding its presence in the US market. They are seeking a highly driven Business Development Representative (BDR) with experience in MarTech or AdTech to help build new client relationships and generate qualified meetings with key decision-makers across US market.
This role is perfect for a self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, start-up environments and has the tenacity to open doors with senior marketing and business leaders. You'll play a pivotal role in expanding market reach, identifying new revenue opportunities, and supporting event-led growth strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Outbound Prospecting & Lead Generation
- Conduct targeted outreach to senior decision-makers (Heads of Marketing, Heads of Go-to-Market, Business Leaders).
- Build and manage prospect lists aligned with the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP).
- Execute cold email, LinkedIn, and call campaigns using modern outreach tools.
Sales Development & Opportunity Conversion
- Qualify prospects through discovery calls and structured conversations.
- Set meetings with relevant stakeholders leading to measurable opportunities.
- Achieve and exceed KPIs, including meeting-to-opportunity conversion rates and pipeline growth.
Collaboration & Sales Enablement
- Partner with the Growth Manager to refine outbound strategy, messaging, and lead quality.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and activity reports.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of outreach processes and sales materials.
Market & Industry Intelligence
- Stay updated on emerging trends in the MarTech and AdTech landscape.
- Research competitor activities and identify new potential verticals.
Performance Metrics & Reporting
- Track key sales metrics (calls, emails, InMails, meetings, conversion ratios).
- Report performance weekly to management, ensuring clear visibility of progress.
Requirements:
- 5-10 years of experience in B2B sales or business development, ideally from MarTech, AdTech, or Tech Start-Ups.
- Proven success running outbound campaigns targeting US markets.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication strong attention to grammar and tone.
- Proficiency with modern outreach tools (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach, HubSpot, or equivalent).
- Demonstrated ability to engage senior decision-makers confidently.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the drive to build from the ground up.
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field preferred.
