Job Brief
We are hiring a Partner Onboarding Operations Manager for a leading FinTech company in the Philippinesa BSP-regulated organization driving innovation in digital financial services.
This role oversees the end-to-end KYB/KYC (Know Your Business/Customer) onboarding and after-sales support processes for B2B clients, ensuring seamless partner activation, compliance with regulatory requirements, and consistent delivery of excellent service.
Youll lead a team of one Team Lead and six Associates specializing in KYB/KYC, partner support, and customer solutions, and will collaborate cross-functionally with Compliance, Legal, Business Development, and Product teams to uphold operational excellence and partner satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
KYB & Partner Onboarding
- Lead and continuously optimize the full KYB/KYC lifecycle for new and existing business partners, ensuring proper documentation, verification, and adherence to BSP and AMLA guidelines.
- Oversee the validation of business registration documents, certificates, and compliance requirements for B2B onboarding.
- Collaborate with Compliance and Legal to escalate and resolve high-risk or complex cases.
- Stay abreast of evolving FinTech and BSP regulations to align onboarding processes with best practices.
Partner Support & After-Sales Operations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for partner-related inquiries and escalations post-onboarding.
- Manage issue resolution for transaction concerns and partner requests in coordination with BSP and internal departments.
- Drive partner satisfaction by ensuring timely, high-quality, and empathetic support.
Operational Leadership
- Manage a team of seven (one Team Lead and six Associates), ensuring SLA compliance, productivity, and service quality.
- Conduct regular coaching, performance reviews, and development sessions to strengthen team capability and engagement.
- Track, analyze, and report key operational metrics and partner satisfaction KPIs.
Process Excellence & Continuous Improvement
- Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies across onboarding and support workflows, recommending and implementing improvement plans.
- Develop standardized procedures, playbooks, and quality assurance measures.
- Recommend process and compliance enhancements to management, balancing regulatory rigor with operational agility.
Cross-Functional Strategy & Compliance Partnership
- Work closely with the Head of FinTech Solutions to recommend onboarding strategies and compliance enhancements.
- Partner with internal teams (Compliance, Legal, Product, Business Development) to ensure smooth partner enablement and issue resolution.
- Act as a key contributor in refining governance frameworks and BSP compliance alignment.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in partner onboarding, KYB/KYC operations, after-sales, or customer support within FinTech, banking, or BSP-regulated environments.
- Proven leadership experience managing teams in high-volume operational settings.
- Strong understanding of KYB/KYC processes, AML/CFT compliance, and BSP regulatory frameworks.
- Strategic mindsetable to assess complex issues, propose actionable plans, and implement improvements effectively.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
- Flexible and creative problem solver capable of navigating complex, cross-functional challenges.
- Bachelors degree in Business, Compliance, Legal, Operations, or any related field.
- Certifications in compliance, AML/KYC, or risk management are a plus.
