We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to join our team starting Aug.1st, 2025. The successful candidate will lead our quality assurance team and drive continuous improvement in manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will analyze quality data across all production stages (from incoming materials to final shipment), ensure compliance with MIL-STD-105E standards, and implement corrective actions to enhance product quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Quality System Management
    • Oversee the entire quality control process, ensuring adherence to MIL-STD-105E (or equivalent AQL standards).
    • Maintain accurate documentation for audits, inspections, and management reviews.
  2. Data Analysis & Process Improvement
    • Analyze QC data to identify trends, defects, and root causes using statistical tools (e.g., Pareto charts, Fishbone diagrams).
    • Develop and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) to resolve quality issues.
  3. Team Leadership
    • Manage and mentor a team of 510 QC inspectors, ensuring proper execution of tests and inspections.
    • Conduct regular training on quality standards, tools, and procedures.
  4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Work closely with Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to address quality concerns and improve processes.
    • Communicate quality metrics and improvement plans to senior management.
  5. Continuous Improvement
    • Design and oversee experiments (DOE, trials) to validate process changes.
    • Monitor the effectiveness of implemented measures and adjust strategies as needed.
      

Qualifications & Requirements

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
  2. Experience:
    • Minimum 5 years in quality control/assurance within a manufacturing environment.
    • Proven expertise in MIL-STD-105E (or similar AQL sampling standards).
    • Strong background in root cause analysis (5Why, 8D, Six Sigma) and process improvement (PDCA, Lean).
    • Experience managing 510 QC personnel.
  3. Skills:
    • Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Minitab, SPC).
    • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal English) for cross-functional collaboration.
