Job Openings General Admin Support

About the job General Admin Support

Were looking for a warm, confident, and people-focused individual to join our Front of House team. This role is about much more than answering phones and checking people in — its about making every person who walks through our doors feel seen, welcomed, and valued.

  • Be friendly, professional and provide a warm and online communication with members and prospects.
  • Handle queries in a calm, caring, and helpful way — whether over the phone or by email.
  • Help us foster a positive, uplifting community where people come first, and fitness naturally follows.
  • Use our member management system (Zen Planner) to manage sign-ups, bookings, check-ins, and member accounts efficiently.
  • Manage all Aphobos Emails and respond to prospects within 24 hours of enquiry.
  • Ensuring the line of communication is fulfilled to the wider Ahobos Team.
  • Assist with social media activity — posting updates, engaging with followers, and sharing community moments that reflect our values.
  • Offer general team support — jumping in where needed to keep the day running smoothly.
  • Help support Operations, ordering items needed, checking inventory and providing support to the team. This will also include managing invoices and creating a structure to provide to the wider team for VAT and office processes.
  • Be a key part of building our culture — helping members feel known, valued, and part of something bigger.
  • General administration and team support, supporting meetings with minutes and arranging staff rotas and being the glue to the team.
  • Other general administration jobs may arise due to Aphobos CrossFit being a small business, we need an individual that can adapt.

What Were Looking For:

  • Excellent people skills and a natural ability to connect with others.
  • Great communication — whether face-to-face, on the phone, or online and social media platforms.
  • Positive energy, motivation, and initiative — you're proactive and solution focused.
  • Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, email systems). (And to be the master of Zen Planner)
  • A flexible mindset and a team-player attitude.
  • A genuine interest in health, fitness, and helping others feel their best.
