Our client is a leading developer and operator of agricultural waste-to-energy systems in the United States. The Multi-Entity Company designs, develops, constructs, and operates biogas renewable energy generation systems, primarily on dairy farms. Our projects include anaerobic digesters, biogas-powered electric generation, and renewable natural gas upgrading.
Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior NetSuite Administrator to lead the administration, support, and strategic enhancement of our NetSuite ERP system, which successfully went live on January 1, 2025. This is a pivotal role responsible for ensuring the integrity and optimal performance of NetSuite, supporting the accounting and finance teams with training and reporting needs, and collaborating cross-functionally to enhance workflows and systems as we scale.
Key Responsibilities
1. NetSuite Administration
- Perform daily system administration and maintenance, including user management, permissions, roles, workflows, and dashboards.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues, ensuring data integrity and minimal disruption to end-users.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all NetSuite support issues and enhancement requests.
2. System Configuration & Optimization
- Lead the continued configuration and customization of NetSuite post-go-live to meet evolving business needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across finance, operations, and IT to enhance modules including GL, AP/AR, Fixed Assets, Purchasing, and Order Management.
- Manage system updates, patches, and NetSuite releases, performing impact analysis and implementing changes effectively.
3. Reporting & Analytics
- Build, maintain, and optimize Saved Searches, KPIs, and custom reports for stakeholders across departments.
- Partner with finance and operational leads to deliver accurate, timely, and insightful financial and operational reports.
- Provide analytical support for business decisions and compliance reporting.
4. Training & Support
- Develop and deliver training sessions and documentation for end-users, particularly accounting staff, to ensure high adoption and effective use of NetSuite functionalities.
- Establish a feedback loop with users to identify pain points, gather enhancement requests, and deliver continuous improvement.
5. Project Leadership & Collaboration
- Support NetSuite-related projects such as integrations with third-party systems, module rollouts, and automation of manual processes.
- Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) during audits and compliance reviews where system reporting and controls are involved.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience with NetSuite, including at least 2 years in a lead or senior role.
- Expertise in NetSuite administration, configuration, scripting (SuiteScript), and workflows.
- Proficiency in financial reporting and a solid understanding of accounting principles.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to train and support non-technical users.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with a NetSuite go-live or post-implementation environment.
- NetSuite Administrator Certification or NetSuite ERP Consultant Certification.
- Familiarity with integration tools (e.g., Dell Boomi, Celigo) or experience managing third-party NetSuite integrations.
- Experience working in a high-growth or multi-entity environment.
