Position: Senior Ruby Developer

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Ruby Developer to join our growing team on a part-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining complex software applications using Ruby on Rails. You will work closely with our team of developers, designers, and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain software applications using Ruby on Rails

- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code

- Design and implement database structures

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions

- Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely manner

- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices

- Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development using Ruby on Rails

- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles

- Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

- Familiarity with relational databases and SQL

- Knowledge of agile development methodologies

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

- Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Contract Details:

This is a part-time position, with a flexible schedule of 20-30 hours per week.
