Overview of the Role:

Reporting to the IT Service Manager, a IT Administrator will help build, maintain, and troubleshoot Client's MSP & professional service clients. Managing and monitoring all MSP client systems using Client's RMM platform. You will be dClientring mission critical client infrastructure and ensuring high levels of availability, performance, and security, as well as achieving set client SLA.

Main Responsibilities:

The main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing and monitoring all installed client systems and infrastructure
  • Installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, application software and system management tools
  • Client IT assistance for technical problems associated with Microsoft's core business applications and operating systems, including M365, Windows Server, Exchange, and Active Directory.
  • Implement and maintain remote access solutions, including VPN and Terminal Services
  • Resolve network connectivity issues, such as WAN and LAN connections, routers, and firewalls
  • Ensuring the highest levels of client systems and infrastructure availability achieving client set SLA
  • Implementing and supporting security, backup, and redundancy strategies
  • Implementing and supporting VOIP and SOIP solutions
  • Attending training courses on topics Client deem necessary (such as M365)
  • Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks, will be an advantage
  • Provide 1st, 2nd and some 3rd level client support
  • Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
  • Support all service desk phone, email, portal and client chats.
  • Implement client projects, train clients, document solutions and organize handover & onboarding.
  • Maintain open communication with customers, updating them on the status of incidents and advising them of any changes or outages

Core Competencies:

  • 5 years of hands-on experience in IT
  • Experience in Managed Services is an advantage
  • Hands-on experience with project deployments, such as M365 Exchange and Google Workspace migrations, ADconnect and Active Directory
  • Superb written and verbal English skills
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal and team-player skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Team-player; this is an important characteristic of the Client team
  • High degree of customer empathy and natural ability to build relationships and rapport
  • Well-versed in current technological trends and familiar with a variety of technology concepts
  • Hands-on experience managing Apple Mac computers is an advantage
  • Experience with Sophos is an advantage
  • Excellent interpersonal skills include strong communication, active listening, a customer-focused attitude, and telephony skills.
  • Ability to diagnose technical issues and offer effective solutions.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and quickly adjust to changes.
