NetSuite Billing Analyst

Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Billing Analyst to own the professional services billing cycle end-to-end. This role is critical to ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, stronger billing controls, and improved cash flow. The ideal candidate has experience with software or professional services billing, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
Manage the complete Time & Materials (T&M) billing cycle using NetSuite / ClickUp
Generate customer invoices for approval accurately and on schedule
Track billable hours from project management systems (ClickUp) and ensure all time is captured
Follow up with Project Teams and consultants to ensure all hours are entered weekly
Reconcile hours to identify unbilled time and create special invoices as needed
Send AR notices and manage collections follow-up
Work closely with Project Managers to ensure time entry accuracy and billing approvals
Maintain billing documentation and drive process improvements
Provide regular reporting on billing status, outstanding AR, and collections progress

Required Qualifications
2+ years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or finance operations
Experience in professional services or software billing environments
Strong analytical skills, including working with data, pivot tables, and spreadsheets
Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis and reconciliation
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Self-starter able to work independently with minimal supervision
Experience with NetSuite(MUST HAVE)

Preferred Qualifications
Background in the construction industry or project-based services
Experience with project management tools (ClickUp, Asana, or similar)
Understanding of T&M billing and professional services revenue recognition
