POSITION: Assistant Officer, Customer Services Management (IST Department)

LOCATION: Yangon, Myanmar

STATUS: Office Base

START DATE : 01-November-2025

NATIONALITY: MYANMAR NATIOINAL ONLY



Key Accountabilities:

  • Provide comprehensive IT support services to all Company users including:
  • Responding to helpdesk calls and assisting users with daily IT-related activities.
  • Software installation and configuration.
  • Hardware installation, relocation, and troubleshooting.
  • On-site and off-site support for presentations and related IT setups.
  • Assist COMPANYs IT staff/administrators in managing Information Systems (IS) and Telecommunications operations, covering:
  • Workstations, Servers, and IT peripherals at COMPANYs Main Office, Thaketa Bases, Onshore, and Offshore sites.
  • Ensure daily backup schedule and status.
  • Ensure the smooth operation and availability of all user workstations and network systems.
  • Under the supervision of COMPANYs IT staff/admin, perform minor hardware repair or replacement services on workstations and related IT equipment.
  • Conduct daily physical checks of servers and server rooms, including:
  • Perform routine collection of system event logs for monitoring and reporting purposes.
  • Immediate reporting of any errors or abnormalities to designated personnel.
  • Record all Helpdesk services, user requests, and incident reports in the COMPANYs IT Service Management (ITSM) application or database.
  • Maintain, update, and monitor the IT Inventory/Stock database.
  • Track and follow up on the delivery and availability of IT equipment and materials.
  • Participate in the preparation and execution of Disaster Recovery (DR) tests and exercises, supporting the COMPANYs Business Continuity Plan.

Safety, Security, Health and Environment, and Compliance:

  • Ensure that all activities / tasks performed are in accordance with Company SSHE rules and procedure. To participate in the safety drills, specific audits, toolbox talks and to attend SSHE meetings as per site arrangement.
  • Promotes accurate reporting and feedback, involves, and motivates all personnel on near-misses safety anomaly and incidents reporting.

Professional Knowledge and Experience:

  • Any bachelors degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics & Telecommunications or related fields.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in IS/IT areas.
