Scope of work

  • Support SIM engineer for Topside anomaly management.
  • Attend SVI campaign kick-off meetings.
  • Coordinate with Inspection site supervisor.
  • Occasionally participate in offshore SVI or anomaly investigations.
  • Review daily anomaly reports from SVI team and provide summarized reports with risk assessments.
  • Develop quality repair packages for general anomalies and tertiary structures.
  • Collaborate with SIM engineer on significant anomalies at primary and secondary structures, developing repair packages under supervision.
  • Communicate with RBI team regarding Anomaly notification register.
  • Coordinate and follow up to close anomalies before SAP register completion.
  • Ensure SSHE compliance during operations.
  • Consistently deliver quality work.
  • Attend meetings with offshore team, ECM, and contractors.
  • Update anomaly status in digital dashboard and EMI monthly report.

Professional Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma/High Vocational Certificate in civil/structural engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in steel structure-related fields such as design, construction, or fabrication yard.
  • Understanding of Jacket and Topside structure components, including tertiary, secondary, and primary structures.
  • Familiarity with Non-destructive Testing (NDT) and inspections.
  • Knowledge of metal corrosion, welding, patching, and painting systems.
  • Experience in offshore Oil & Gas industry.
