Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer- Precision Machining Company (Metalworking)
Location: Ubi
Salary: S$2.500 SGD - 3.000 SGD

Job Summary: Ensure compliance with certification requirements, manage ISO systems, handle audits, and maintain documentation processes. Coordinate with customer to meet industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Control & Inspection:
- Perform in-process and final inspections of metal components to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
- Utilize precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.
Quality Assurance & Compliance: - Develop and implement quality assurance policies, procedures, and standards.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, AS9100, or other relevant industry certifications.
- Conduct internal audits and support external audits by regulatory agencies and customers.
Process Improvement: - Analyze production processes and recommend improvements to minimize defects and enhance efficiency.
- Work closely with the production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for non-conformities.
Documentation & Reporting: - Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and quality reports.
- Prepare detailed quality assurance documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, and control plans.
Supplier & Customer Quality Management: - Collaborate with suppliers to ensure incoming materials meet quality standards.
- Address customer complaints and implement corrective actions to improve product quality.
- Assist in customer audits and provide necessary quality documentation.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in quality assurance/control in a metalworking or precision manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of QC tools and methodologies
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work under minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and quality management software.
