Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer- Precision Machining Company (Metalworking)
Location: Ubi

Salary: S$2.500 SGD - 3.000 SGD

Job Summary:
Ensure compliance with certification requirements, manage ISO systems, handle audits, and maintain documentation processes. Coordinate with customer to meet industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Control & Inspection:

  • Perform in-process and final inspections of metal components to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
  • Utilize precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.
    Quality Assurance & Compliance:
  • Develop and implement quality assurance policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, AS9100, or other relevant industry certifications.
  • Conduct internal audits and support external audits by regulatory agencies and customers.
    Process Improvement:
  • Analyze production processes and recommend improvements to minimize defects and enhance efficiency.
  • Work closely with the production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for non-conformities.
    Documentation & Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and quality reports.
  • Prepare detailed quality assurance documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, and control plans.
    Supplier & Customer Quality Management:
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure incoming materials meet quality standards.
  • Address customer complaints and implement corrective actions to improve product quality.
  • Assist in customer audits and provide necessary quality documentation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in quality assurance/control in a metalworking or precision manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of QC tools and methodologies
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work under minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • ​​​​​​​Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and quality management software.
