Hiring Position: Supplier Quality Inspector (Oil & Gas Industry)

•  Allowance: S$200 - S$500

Requirements

• Diploma in Engineering (or equivalent experience)

• Minimum 3 years experience in quality inspection/assurance

• Familiar with machining processes (turning, milling, boring, drilling, etc.)

• Knowledge of international standards: API, ISO, ASME (others a plus)

• Experience with inspection tools and gauges (caliper, micrometer, thread gauges, etc.)

• Thread inspection experience (API, VAM connections) preferred

• Basic English & Chinese reading/writing skills (to handle technical documents)

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel; Power BI a plus)

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, and measure incoming materials and finished products against customer and international standards

• Issue Certificates of Conformance (COC), verify mill certificates, and review NDE reports

• Support dimensional checks, documentation review, and system data updates (ZMES, logs, etc.)

• Raise quality alerts; hold or stop non-conforming products when required

• Coordinate supplier audits, approvals, and reviews for ASL compliance

• Conduct root cause analysis, QHSE investigations, and support corrective actions

• Collaborate with internal teams (Scheduler, Sales, Demand, QA/QC) to ensure timely documentation and compliance

• Participate in QHSE Committee activities, internal audits, and trainings

• Suggest Continuous Improvement (CIT) initiatives to drive supplier quality and delivery performance

• Always comply with safe work practices and contribute to business improvements
