About the job Production Supervisor (Electrical)
PURPOSE
Production Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the team has an understanding of, and motivation to achieve against, a set clear plan of the set goals and expectations. The Supervisor will ensure they regularly encourage and support the worker to achieve the set goals and provide a safe and productive environment. This will ensure the worker is able to complete work on time, in full, to standard.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Essential
- Graduate of 3 years vocational course, Trade course is an advantage.
- At least 3 years experience in trade-specific shipbuilding.
- Hands-on technical know-how in trade-specific drawing interpretation.
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
- Strong Planning & Organizing Skills
- Computer Literate (MS Office application)
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Works well under pressure and meets deadlines.
- ven leadership and management abilities
Desirable
- Knowledgeable in Occupational Health & Safety including First Aid..
- Good mathematical skills.
- Bachelors degree
- Relevant Licenses or certifications
