About the role

The Accuracy Controller provides the vessel reference marking necessary for dimensional accuracy monitoring is responsible for the implementation of dimensional control plan/procedure and providing dimensional information required during modular fabrication stage to ensure conformance to the designed dimensional specification of the vessel.

The role is also responsible for providing support in establishing and improving vessel dimensional accuracy process and controls to achieve and continuously improve accuracy of constructed vessels.

Key objectives & responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Support production activities by establishing reliable dimensional references, performing checks at each fabrication stage, and coordinating with relevant departments as per the Project Dimensional Control Plan.
  • Assist in systematically achieving design specifications, providing dimensional reports, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Address dimensional issues with responsible parties, validate rectifications against design requirements, and ensure proper documentation of corrective actions.
  • Identify improvement opportunities and support process enhancements to strengthen dimensional control practices.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the immediate superior.
  • Adhere to all company and departmental policies to maintain compliance and accountability.

Required Skills / Experience / Attributes:

  • Engineering graduate (preferably in Civil, Geodetic, or Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering).
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in surveying is required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and AutoCAD.
