About the Role
The role is responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process to ensure timely, compliant, and quality hiring outcomes that support Austal's business goals and manpower plans. This includes collaborating with hiring departments, implementing effective sourcing strategies, and ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand role requirements and develop appropriate recruitment strategies.
- Manage the full recruitment cycle from job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection to job offer and onboarding coordination.
- Proactively source and attract qualified candidates through referrals, job boards, social media, and networking activities.
- Conduct screenings, interviews, and assessments to ensure fair and consistent candidate evaluation.
- Prepare and issue job offers, coordinate pre-employment requirements, and ensure completion of compliance documentation prior to start date.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and external recruitment partners.
- Maintain accurate and updated recruitment records, trackers, and reports.
- Support initiatives that promote Austal as an employer of choice.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in full-cycle recruitment, including both blue-collar and white-collar hiring.
- Strong understanding of Philippine labor laws and recruitment compliance requirements.
- Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
