Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician Monroe, NC | $30–$35/hr | Day & Night Shifts Available

About the Company Work for a global leader in packaging manufacturing  This is a large facility, is a fast-paced, growing operation with strong investment in their maintenance team and equipment.

What You'll Do

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production and facility equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to minimize downtime
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and execute timely repairs to keep production running
• Conduct scheduled inspections and complete maintenance work orders accurately
• Collaborate with production supervisors to plan and coordinate maintenance activities
• Maintain parts inventory and ensure proper documentation of all maintenance work
• Follow all safety regulations, lockout/tagout procedures, and company policies

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Proficiency in electrical, mechanical, and/or PLC troubleshooting
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyor systems a plus
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently under pressure
• Must be comfortable working day or night shifts as needed
• Forklift certification and welding experience a plus

Schedule Day and night shifts available — straight shifts with competitive pay and room for overtime.
