Key Responsibilities
- Review and approve complex tax returns and audits
- Ensure compliance with federal and state tax laws
- Lead tax research and planning initiatives
- Serve as a technical resource for staff and clients
- Supervise and mentor tax team members
- Collaborate with audit teams on large client engagements
Requirements
- CPA license required
- 8+ years in public accounting with increasing responsibility
- Experience representing clients before tax authorities
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in tax software (e.g., CCH ProSystem fx) preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required (Master's in Taxation preferred)
