2 Medical Assistants

Client in Cumming is looking for 2 Medical Assistants as quickly as possible. 

Position: Medical Assistant - Full-Time

• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

• Pay Range: $18 - $20/hr

• Scope: Responsible for providing organization and support to assigned provider. Responsible for Patient Clinical Triage and EMR chart documentation, handling all patient phone calls

• Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Triages patients, updates medical histories, obtains vital signs, and documents history of present illness.

• Prepares clinical charts in advance; ensures all lab and diagnostic results are available.

• Handles all patient and provider messages, EMR documentation, and patient communication tasks daily.

• Coordinates care instructions including diagnostic prep, treatment plans, dietary recommendations, and test follow-up.

• Refills medications, processes prior authorizations, and communicates medication-related information.

• Performs procedures such as video capsule endoscopy (VCE) and phlebotomy.

• Ensures patient confidentiality and documentation accuracy in compliance with legal standards.

• Will perform other duties as assigned by management.

• Travel to satellite offices may be required.
