POSITION OVERVIEW

Avery Partners is seeking a skilled Electronic Security Technician on behalf of our client for a contract-to-hire engagement. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with electronic security systems and a strong technical foundation in access control, CCTV, and intrusion detection. Candidates with system configuration and programming experience are highly encouraged to apply.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Install, maintain, and repair electronic security, access control, and CCTV equipment and systems

Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with security, access control, and CCTV devices

Test and calibrate electronic components and systems

Follow blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to perform tasks accurately

Collaborate with team members to complete projects on schedule

Provide on-site technical support to customers and clients

Stay current on the latest advancements in electronic security technology

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent

Minimum 3 years of proven experience as an Electronic Security Technician or similar role

Strong knowledge of access control and CCTV systems and components

Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals

Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC)

Demonstrated ability to detect and resolve electronic malfunctions

Valid driver's license required

Willingness to travel approximately 50%

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience with Lenel, Software House, Avigilon, Bosch, or DMP platforms

Background in system configuration and programming

Computer networking experience a plus

EMPLOYMENT DETAILS

Type: Contract-to-Hire

Schedule: Monday–Friday / Weekends as needed

Travel: ~50% required

Work Location: On the road
