Customer Service Manager – Automotive Manufacturing Were a leading supplier of plastic and metal fastening products used across the automotive industry, and looking for a Customer Service Manager to lead a team of up to 12 and elevate our customer experience.
Oversee daily customer service operations, coach and develop staff, resolve escalated issues, and work closely with production to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment and enjoys building strong customer relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and develop the customer service team
- Oversee daily operations and maintain high service standards
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints
- Coordinate with production to ensure on‑time delivery
- Improve customer satisfaction and retention
- Manage department budgeting and monthly reporting
- Serve as liaison between management and your team
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous management experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with SAP, EDI, Excel, and email systems
- Detail‑oriented, organized, and calm under pressure
Schedule: Mon–Fri, 8:00–5:00 or 8:30–5:30 Reports To: VP of Operations Support Salary: $100k - $110K DOE
