Reporting Structure: Senior Project Manager / VP of Construction

Position Overview: The Electrical Project Manager leads electrical construction projects through every phase, from initial planning through final delivery. This individual serves as the central point of coordination among clients, subcontractors, and internal teams — keeping projects on schedule, on budget, and in line with quality and safety expectations.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage project plans covering timelines, budgets, and allocation of resources.
  • Serve as the liaison between engineers, architects, and contractors to keep work on track and on schedule.
  • Prepare cost estimates and conduct ongoing project cost analysis.
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
  • Source materials and oversee relationships with subcontractors and vendors.
  • Perform regular site visits to evaluate progress, quality, and safety conditions.
  • Maintain thorough project records including change orders, RFIs, submittals, and closeout documentation.
  • Uphold compliance with applicable safety codes, regulations, and internal company standards.
  • Facilitate project meetings and keep clients and stakeholders consistently informed.
  • Monitor project performance metrics and deliver progress reports to senior leadership.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related discipline preferred.
  • At least 10 years of electrical construction experience, including 2 or more years in a project management capacity.
  • Solid working knowledge of NEC standards, electrical systems, and construction methods.
  • Hands-on experience with project management platforms such as Procore, MS Project, or equivalent tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze technical documents, construction plans, and project specifications.
  • Strong leadership presence with effective problem-solving and communication abilities.
  • OSHA 30 Certification preferred.
