This temporary Business Analyst role is designed for a highly capable, hands-on professional who can quickly step into an active operational environment and deliver impact with minimal ramp-up time.

The role focuses on analyzing, validating, and resolving sales tracings and contract-related data issues, partnering closely with Contract Administration, distributors, and internal stakeholders. Rather than purely processing data, this position emphasizes understanding business rules, identifying root causes of issues, improving workflows, and ensuring data supports accurate downstream financial outcomes.

The ideal candidate is comfortable navigating ambiguity, applying business logic to imperfect data, and driving issues to resolution in a fast-paced environment.

    Your role

Quickly onboard to existing tracings and contract administration processes and independently manage day-to-day operational analysis

Analyze incoming sales tracings data from multiple sources (EDI, spreadsheets) to ensure alignment with contract and customer business rules

Investigate data discrepancies, mismatches, and missing tracings by identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions

Partner with Contract Administration to ensure correct contract setup and timely issue resolution

Serve as a point of contact for distributor-related tracings issues, coordinating follow-ups and driving closure

Monitor tracings flow within Model N, proactively identifying exceptions and potential downstream impacts

Apply judgment and business context to determine appropriate handling of complex or non-standard scenarios

Document business rules, issue resolution patterns, and process improvements to support consistency and scalability

Identify opportunities to improve tracings accuracy, reduce recurring issues, and strengthen preventive controls

Support ad hoc analysis and operational reporting requests as needed

Contribute immediately as a trusted team member with minimal supervision in a deadline-driven environment

    Other duties as assigned

Minimum 2 years of experience in a business analyst, operations analyst, or contract/tracings-related role, preferably in healthcare or a regulated industry

Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyze, reconcile, and interpret large data sets (e.g., VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, data validation)

Demonstrated ability to quickly learn systems, business rules, and workflows with limited oversight

Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data issues into clear business insights and actions

Excellent communication skills, with confidence interacting across teams and external partners

Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced, operational environment

    Preferred

Experience working with sales tracings, chargebacks, rebates, or contract administration processes

Working knowledge of Model N, SAP, Salesforce, or similar enterprise systems

Experience performing root cause analysis and implementing process improvements

Strong stakeholder collaboration skills and ability to influence outcomes without formal authority

Prior experience in temporary or project-based roles requiring rapid ramp-up and immediate contribution
