CRITICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Fixed Wing Flying Experience: Proven hands-on experience operating fixed-wing aircraft essential for mission readiness and safety.
  • Total Aeroplane Hours 3000: Demonstrates a strong foundation of overall flight time and operational exposure.
  • Total PIC (Pilot-in-Command) Hours 1000: Shows significant time in command, with full responsibility for the aircraft and crew critical for captaincy.
  • Night PIC Hours 100: Experience operating as PIC during night conditions, ensuring confidence and safety in low-visibility environments.
  • BE20 Hours / PIC on BE20 200 / 50: Substantial time on the King Air BE20, with at least 50 hours as PIC, confirming you're proficient and type familiar.
  • Multicrew PIC Hours 500: Demonstrates your ability to operate effectively as a leader within a multi-crew cockpit environment.
  • Total PIC Instrument Flight Hours 75: Confirms capability to command aircraft under Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) essential for flying in varied weather and controlled airspace.

QUALIFICATIONS AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The following list of qualifications is essential to fill the position:

  • Valid ATPL or CPL with IF Rating
  • Valid Medical
  • Valid Dangerous Goods and CRM
  • BE20 Type Rated (+ B190 rating preferred)

Working Conditions

  • Location: Based in Central Africa, with potential operations in remote or high demand regions depending on mission requirements.
  • Rosters: Variable flight schedules; candidates must be flexible and willing to work irregular hours, weekends.
  • Team Environment: Operates in high performance, multi crew settings, strong communication and coordination skills are essential.
  • Compliance: All operations are conducted under strict safety protocols, aviation regulations, and Starlite SOPs to ensure crew and mission integrity.
