Description:
Avyanna Technologies is sourcing a Senior Database Administrator for inclusion in a proposal to NYC DOE. This role is contingent upon contract award and will lead database performance, backup/recovery, and infrastructure for DOE billing systems.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and optimize SQL Server clusters in high-availability environments

• Perform backups, replication, tuning, and failover planning

• Collaborate with DevOps and architects on database architecture

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience as a SQL DBA

• Strong skills in SSIS, OLTP/OLAP, and performance tuning

• Experience with clustered environments and ERWin
