Power BI Developer

We are looking for a qualified Power BI Developer for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI. This role involves creating interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to help the organization make data-driven decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Modeling and Transformation:
• Designing and implementing data models within Power BI, using Power Query to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources.
• Dashboard and Report Development: Creating visually appealing and interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
• Data Analysis Expressions (DAX): Writing DAX formulas to create calculated columns, measures, and custom logic for data analysis and reporting.
• Data Source Integration: Connecting to and integrating data from various sources, including databases, cloud services, and flat files.
• Performance Optimization: Identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks in Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Collaboration and Communication: Working with business users and stakeholders to understand requirements, gather feedback, and communicate insights from the data.
• Data Governance and Security: Ensuring data accuracy, security, and compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
• Staying Updated: Keeping up with the latest features and updates in Power BI and related technologies.

Required Skills:

• Power BI Desktop, Power Query, Power BI Service:In-depth knowledge of these Power BI components.
• DAX:Strong ability to write DAX formulas for complex calculations.
• SQL:Proficiencyin SQL for data querying and manipulation.
• Data Modeling:Experience with designing and implementing data models.
• Data Visualization:Strong skills in creating effective and visually appealing data visualizations.
• Data Integration:Experience with connecting to and integrating data from various sources.
