Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage network facility infrastructure to ensure high reliability, efficiency, and scalability
  • Oversee primary and secondary power systems, including AC/DC supply, battery backup systems, generators, inverters, regulators, and distribution systems
  • Analyze current and future infrastructure requirements (new deployments, expansions, and upgrades) and contribute to annual budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Network Engineering, Operations, Field Force, Managed Service Providers, and Strategy teams
  • Drive process improvements to enhance design efficiency and reduce turnaround time to Ready for Service (RFS)
  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce operational expenditure (OPEX), including power consumption optimization and proactive maintenance practices
  • Participate in procurement activities including RFP/RFQ processes in collaboration with Procurement and Technology teams to achieve cost-effective solutions
  • Ensure facility designs meet world-class standards in reliability, redundancy, and operational efficiency
  • Provide technical guidance and recommendations to stakeholders on facility-related matters
  • Monitor and continuously improve system performance, resilience, and cost efficiency

Person Specifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field
  • Proven experience in facility engineering, telecom infrastructure, or related domain
  • Experience in managing power systems and network facility environments
  • Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization initiatives is preferred
  • Strong technical knowledge of power systems (AC/DC), backup systems, and facility infrastructure
  • Understanding of telecom/network facility design and operations
  • Ability to analyze and optimize system performance and energy efficiency
  • Knowledge of procurement processes (RFP/RFQ) and vendor management
  • Strong project management and coordination skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities
