Role Overview

We are seeking a highly driven and results-oriented Sales & Business Development Manager with proven expertise in Telecom and Banking software solution sales. The role requires driving direct sales growth as well as building, acquiring, and managing strategic partnerships and sales channels to expand market presence. The ideal candidate will have strong experience across both the Sri Lankan market and international markets, with a track record of delivering revenue growth, forging strategic relationships, and managing high-value accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to acquire new clients and partners in the Telecom and Banking domains.
  • Build, acquire, and manage strategic partnerships, reseller networks, and sales channels to strengthen business reach.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales cycle from prospecting and solution pitching to contract negotiation and closure.
  • Establish and maintain long-term C-level and decision-maker relationships with Telecom Operators, Banks, and Financial Institutions.
  • Collaborate with solutions, product, and delivery teams to align offerings with client needs.
  • Drive business development initiatives by identifying new opportunities, partnerships, and untapped segments.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed quarterly and annual sales and revenue targets.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities and position offerings effectively.
  • Maintain accurate sales pipeline reporting and forecasting in the CRM system.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client workshops in Sri Lanka and overseas.
  • 06 to 10 years of proven sales experience, including at least 5 years driving revenue in Telecom and Banking technology/software solutions.
  • Proven track record of winning new business, achieving sales targets, and driving revenue growth.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage partnerships, resellers, and sales channels.
  • Strong experience across both the Sri Lankan and international markets.
  • Solid understanding of Telecom OSS/BSS, Digital Transformation solutions, API platforms, FinTech and Banking solutions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with proven ability to engage CXOs and senior stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset, and ability to thrive in a target-driven environment.


Education

Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related field (MBA preferred).
