JOB AND CONTEXT
The Associate People Development and Culture plays a vital role in supporting the design, coordination, and execution of the companys Learning and Development (L&D) strategy.Assists in delivering training programs, managing engagement initiatives, and ensuring accurate documentation and compliance. Collaborates with teams to promote a culture of continuous learning and development.

Duties and Responsibilities

Learning Strategy & Planning

  1. Support the design and implementation of the Learning & Development (L&D) strategy aligned with organizational goals.
  2. Conduct and assist in annual training needs assessments across functions.
  3. Coordinate the collection of learning requirements via brainstorming sessions, surveys, and forms.
  4. Analyze collected data to develop the annual learning calendar in collaboration with the Head of L&D

Employee Relations and Support

  1. Address employee inquiries related to learning programs and HR policies in a timely and professional manner.
  2. Support the resolution of workplace concerns by promoting open communication and fair practices.
  3. Assist in organizing and executing employee engagement initiatives to cultivate a positive work environment.

Program Coordination & Execution

  1. Organize and coordinate internal training programs such as Tech Talks, ADL SEAL sessions, technical training, and ad hoc requests.
  2. Handle all logistics including trainer coordination, venue bookings, budget preparation and approval, materials, refreshments, and communications.
  3. Manage attendance, gather post training feedback, and update training databases and dashboards.
  4. Ensure timely closure of training programs with all documentation and records in place.

External Training Facilitation

  1. Coordinate registration and participation for external training programs.
  2. Handle participant communication, calendar bookings, and feedback collection.
  3. Process and track PO approvals and budget utilization related to external learning.

Induction Management

  1. Conduct in-person inductions every Monday and bi-monthly general inductions.
  2. Maintain and update the induction database and provide monthly reports to the HOD.

Communication & Engagement

  1. Develop and send internal communications for upcoming trainings, including flyers and instructional emails.
  2. Assist in creating the L&D monthly newsletter and welcome messages.
  3. Publish L&D leaderboards and support recognition activities for engaged learners.
  4. Maintain and update monthly training logs and trackers.
  5. Prepare dashboards and reports for management on training statistics and feedback insights.
  6. Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with ISO 27001 and Axiata Group standards.

Reporting & Documentation

Stakeholder Management & Council Support

  1. Act as the HR consultant and SPOC for the CEG Council.
  2. Manage CEG extended member list, approve allocations, and maintain the CEG activity tracker and SharePoint site
  3. Provide budget justifications and facilitate approvals related to L&D and CEG activities.
  4. Support the execution of the L&D strategy and annual training needs assessments.
  5. Coordinate internal training programs, including logistics, communication, and feedback.
  6. Facilitate external training participation and manage related budgets and documentation.
  7. Conduct weekly and bi-monthly induction sessions and maintain induction records.
  8. Create and manage internal communications, newsletters, and learner recognition content.
  9. Maintain training logs, dashboards, and ensure compliance with ISO and Axiata standards.
  10. Act as the SPOC for the CEG Council and manage related activities and documentation.
  11. Coordinate training-related payments and maintain organized training records.
  12. Collaborate on L&D R&D initiatives to align with industry trends.
  13. Support organizational-level training programs and special projects.

NEED TO KNOW AND NEED TO BE:

Education and Experience

  • Bachelors degree in human resource management, Psychology, Education, or Business Management.
  • Minimum of 1 + year of experience in Human Resources handling learning and development operations, preferably in the IT industry.

Knowledge

  • Familiarity with e-learning platforms (an added advantage).
  • Understanding of learning and development functions within HR.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel and PowerPoint.

Skills

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Good presentation development skills (PowerPoint).
  • Proficient in Excel for data handling and analysis.
  • Effective organizational and multitasking skills.
