Job Responsibilities
Data Privacy Team, Axiata Group Risk and Compliance (Operational Governance)
- Maintain an inventory of country privacy laws in the markets Axiata operates in with a good understanding on the implications
- Analyze the amendments to privacy laws and work with regulators in providing comments to consultation papers
- Conduct Data privacy maturity assessments across the Group
- Oversee Data privacy projects across the group and report progress to the management team
- Be the Groups focal point of contact for Data privacy teams across the Group and clarify any issues about their Data Privacy programs
- Contribute to developing training and development programs across the group on Data Privacy
- Build a correlation between Data Privacy and Cybersecurity for critical processes to ensure Data privacy and security measures are in place
- Report Governance - Ensure all reports to OpCos and other entities are completed on time and track the issues and inconsistencies
- Continuously review the data sources.
- Up to 3 years' experience in Data Privacy, Personal Information Security Management, and Personal Data Protection Act implementation projects, including ISO 27701, NIST Privacy Framework
- Bachelor's degree, which includes modules on business law, privacy law, data protection, and personal information management systems
- OR bachelor's degree in business administration or information security
- Knowledge of GDPR, ISO 27701, the BS 10012 standard, and the NIST Privacy Framework would be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of Risk management standards and practices
- Ability to understand and interpret regional data privacy laws
