Senior Engineer - Managed Services

Contract: 1 year & Extendable

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and manage Jira Software, Jira Service Management (JSM), Confluence, and Opsgenie (Cloud/SaaS). 
• Design and implement scalable Jira-based solutions to streamline complex processes. 
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using JMWE, Python, and other in-app scripting tools. 
• Lead the integration of new Atlassian add-ons and third-party products into the ecosystem.
• Conduct user training sessions and provide expert consultations on Atlassian product-based solutions. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions. 
• Oversee license management, renewals, and budgeting to ensure optimal and cost-effective usage. 
• Coordinate with global Atlassian partners and vendors to enhance platform capabilities.
• Monitor and optimize the performance of Jira Service Management.

Your Profile:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. 
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Jira, Jira Service Management, and Confluence administration. 
• Strong experience in designing and implementing custom workflows, advanced JQL, SLAs, and automation rules. 
• Solid knowledge of Agile methodologies, ITIL framework, and ITSM best practices. 
• Proficient in Python scripting, Jira cloud REST APIs, and Automation for Jira. 
• Familiar with add-ons like JMWE, Tempo, Zephyr Squad, and more. 
• Excellent communication, coordination, and presentation skills. 
• A problem-solving mindset with a passion for continuous improvement. 
• Experience working in team leadership or collaborative cross-functional roles. 

Added Advantages:

• Atlassian certifications (e.g., ACP-100, ACP-600). 
• Experience with Atlassian Cloud migration strategies. 
• Familiarity with version control systems like Bitbucket and GitLab. 
• Exposure to low-code/no-code platforms for process automation. 
• Troubleshooting skills in Laravel, Node.js, and React.js applications. 
• Working knowledge of MySQL databases
