Associate Lead - Devops

Key Responsibilities

• Understand and adapt to ADL DevOps culture and best practices
• Take ownership of DevOps activities within assigned projects with guidance from senior leadership
• Support and coordinate with DevOps teams across multiple projects
• Contribute to CI/CD automation, pipeline implementation, and integration tasks
• Assist in optimizing DevOps practices through process improvements and adoption of new technologies
• Contribute to different stages of the SDLC as required
• Support sprint tracking, identify risks, and assist in mitigation planning
• Review tasks performed by team members to ensure quality and adherence to standards
• Assist in effort estimation and planning activities
• Contribute to designing CI/CD pipelines and deployment architectures
• Support system performance monitoring and optimization initiatives
• Collaborate with support teams to help achieve SLAs
• Participate in System Integration Testing
• Follow and promote DevSecOps practices within the team

Person Specifications

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunication, Computer Science, IT, Systems/Networking, or a related field
• 3–5 years of experience in DevOps / Networking / IT / Telecommunication
• Experience with API GW, DevOps | AWS, DevOps | Jenkins
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills
• Prior experience in mentoring or guiding junior team members is an added advantage
• Good understanding of systems, networking, and software fundamentals
• Hands-on experience with UNIX-based operating systems
• Experience with scripting (Bash/Ansible/Python/Terraform) and familiarity with programming languages such as Java/Angular/React/PHP
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, SonarQube, Kubernetes, Docker, SCM tools)
• Familiarity with monitoring and log management tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
• Exposure to one or more cloud platforms
• Basic knowledge of DBMS management
• Understanding of system and network security concepts (DevSecOps)
• Good understanding of Agile and Scrum practices
