Overview

The Intern – HR Rewards will support the HR Rewards team in day-to-day operational and coordination activities. The role includes assisting with staff data management in HRIS, supporting insurance and corporate coordination activities, following up on HR-related payments, and handling data preparation requests for internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

HR Rewards Operations and Data Management 

  • Assist in maintaining and updating staff-related records and information in HRIS and in any other given platforms
  • Support HR Rewards data management activities while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
  • Assist in preparing reports and data summaries when required

Insurance and Corporate Coordination Support 

  • Support the team in insurance-related coordination and documentation activities
  • Assist with corporate connection and follow-ups of communication
  • Coordinate with relevant internal teams for routine operational requirements

ERP handling and Payment follow up

  • Initiate HR-related payment requests as instructed by the team
  • Follow up with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely completion of payment processes
  • Assist in maintaining records related to payment requests and status updates

Ad-hoc and Internal Team Support  

  • Assist internal teams with data preparation and administrative requests
  • Support miscellaneous operational tasks assigned by the team from time to time
  • Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all assigned tasks

Key Accountabilities

Data Accuracy: Maintain accurate and updated employee and operational records. 

Timely Coordination: Ensure assigned follow-ups and coordination activities are completed within expected timelines. 

Operational Support: Provide timely support for HR Rewards and internal administrative activities.

Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with internal teams and contribute positively to day-to-day operations.

Person Specifications

Education and Experience 

  • Currently following or recently completed a degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field
  • Previous internship or administrative experience would be an added advantage

Knowledge 

  • Basic understanding of HR and administrative processes
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel and Word
  • Basic understanding of data handling and documentation practices
