Job Description:

• To deliver high quality, effective and individualized nursing care that is compassionate, caring, and in line with evidence based professional practice.
• To assess care needs and develop, implement and evaluate nursing care plans without supervision.
• To undertake risk assessments and contribute to the reduction of vulnerable patients coming to harm.
• To provide clinical areas with mental health expertise.
• To support the department/ward-based nursing team in the development of mental health guidance.
• To work as one of the department/ward-based nursing team in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care without direct supervision.
• To work flexibly between clinical environments on one hospital site depending on the needs of the service.
