CONSULTANT PSYCHIATRIST LOCUM

Job Description:

• Holding RC responsibility for patients detained under the MHA and responsibility for voluntary patients;
• Providing clinical leadership to the MDT in assessment, treatment and discharge planning for patients following the acute care pathway;
• Weekly MDT Reviews;
• CPAs, Discharge planning, community and family liaisons;
• Working in collaboration with MDT to monitor day to day progress and evaluation of treatment plans as needed;
• Ensure MDT completion of agreed treatment plans;
• Cross cover arrangements for annual leave/sickness absence;
• Preparation of tribunal/Hospital Managers reports and attending the hearing;
• The post holder will have responsibility for providing weekly clinical supervision to the Specialty Doctor.
