Care Assistant at St Andrews Nursing Home

We are looking for a Care Assistant to join the team at St Andrews Nursing Home. The Care Assistant will provide compassionate and supportive care to patients in the hospital.The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work well with others, and have a strong commitment to providing quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care under the direction of medical staff;
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and feeding;
• Observe and report changes in patient condition or behavior;
• Document patient information accurately in electronic medical records system.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required;
• CNA certification preferred;
• Prior experience working as a Care Assistant in a healthcare setting preferred;
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
