Job Description:

• Be competent to work independently with a high level of skill and autonomy at Advance Specialist level in Cardiac Imaging.
• Have the skills to undertake a range of unsupervised echocardiography as an independent practitioner as per demands of the service.
• You will be expected to have personal responsibilities to support the service.
• You are expected to have a highly specialist knowledge to independently formulate clinical decisions to ensure appropriate evaluation of patients.
• You should possess highly specialist skills in the independent practice of very complex diagnostics and interventions
• Be competent in the analyses of complex data and in performing all forms complex calculations, interpretation and independently compile an accurate written complex report in an acceptable time scale.
• Collect and collate complex clinical information from multiple sources to determine optimal procedure methodology. Have the ability to set up and operates all medical equipment required to perform your procedures.
• Be aware of the complex IT systems produces accurate records of complex clinical and technical data also maintaining accurate information audit purposes.
• Confidently communicate your opinion of complex technical data and explain the clinical implications. Supervise staff working in the clinical environment including visitors and trainees from other Trusts.
