Job Description:

• The post holder will clinically lead the respiratory nursing team working within the respiratory department, working alongside the respiratory consultants and allied healthcare professionals to provide clinical management and professional leadership in the delivery and development of respiratory services.
• The post holder will work collaboratively with all members of the multidisciplinary team to promote, develop and evaluate the clinical respiratory service within NHS Trust thus ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.
• The post holder will be responsible for the provision of expert advice in respiratory nursing including all matters relating to oxygen therapy, chronic disease management and discharge planning, asthma, severe asthma and the administration of biologics, COPD, ILD.
• The post holder will be working across a variety of hospital settings including outpatient nurse led respiratory clinics, administration of biologics for the severe asthma patients and ward areas delivering patient care and education and clinical support of staff.
