Job Description:

Registered General Nurse (RGN) at Parkdean Nursing Home:

We are seeking an experienced Registered General Nurse (RGN) to join our team at Parkdean Nursing Home. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our residents, while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.

Responsibilities:

• Assessing, planning, delivering and evaluating nursing care for residents.
• Ensuring all medical records are maintained in accordance with legal requirements and professional standards.
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by a doctor or according to the home's policies.
• Providing emotional support to residents and their families.

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse (RGN) qualification, such as a Diploma in Nursing or equivalent.
• Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
• Experience of working in a nursing home environment, preferably with elderly residents.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families and colleagues.
• Strong organisational skills, including the ability to plan, prioritise and manage workloads effectively.
• A commitment to delivering high standards of care.
